The Power of Vision Board

What is the vision of your life?
What do you want for your life?

What kind of career you have passion in?
What kind of contribution you want to make for the world and the community?
What is the definition of self-actualization for you?
What kind of house you want to live in?
What kind of cars you want to drive?

If you know what you want in life, if you know where you are heading. I'm sure that you already have that picture in your mind, or somehow have the ideas of what represents the ultimate achievement of your life.

Here I would like to share with you something, the thing that will remind you, motivate you, keep you on the right track, move you forward to your goals. And that is a VISION BOARD. Vision board is a board with the pictures of what you want. You might be wondering, "where do I find the board?" or "how does the board look like?".

Well, the answer is that the how does the board look like, what is on your vision board are only limited by your own imagination! Your vision board is something personalised. You are the designer of your vision board, as you are the creator of your life! You are the one to custom-made you own vision board. To make your own vision board, you look for the pictures that represent your goals and paste onto your vision board, say, the career of your dream, your dreamhome, your dreamcar, anything that represents your goals.

By the way, your vision board doesn't necessarily to be a board, it can be the wallpaper of your laptop or PC, google the picture of your dreamhome, google the picture of your dreamcar! You can choose to paste the pictures onto your diary as well. Again, how to make your vision board is only limited to your own imagination.

Once you made your vision board, place it somewhere that you can see it frequently, for the vision board is your reminder and motivator! To make you move forward constantly.

Have fun making your vision board!

My friends, I wish you a great life ahead.

Book Review : The Secret

Do you believe that you can do, be and have anything you want?

Do you believe that you can create your life you want it to be?

Do you believe that you can develop your talents and potentials to reach for the sky?

If you want or wish to believe in these statement, but somehow having the limiting thoughts of beliefs like

"I'm not good enough to do that."

"That's not for me."

"That's too much of complications."

Then there is a good news for you, you can actually remove these beliefs that are holding you back and embrace a brand new belief and philosophy that are going to skyrocket your life.

So here's the book, "The Secret", produced by Rhonda Byrne, and the book featured some of the greatest gurus in the field of life coaching, personal development, wealth management, psychology, and quantum physics today, being presented to us. Reading the book will revealed to you the secret of living the live of your dreams.

So what is the secret? The secret is the LAW OF ATTRACTION.

What is the LAW OF ATTRACTION? The law of attraction is a law of the universe.

The premise and fundamentals of the law of attraction:

- We create our lives through our thoughts.

- We attract every person, circumstance and experience into our lives by the essence of our thoughts and feelings.

- The law of attraction doesn't biased to the thoughts you have, whether the thoughts you have are good or bad, remembering the past or thinking for the future, it is giving you more of the same according to your thoughts and feelings.

For instance, to be more specific, if you want to be rich, you want to attract a life of affluence and abundance, you must embrace a wealthy mindset. You must think and feel like a millionaire, your self-talk is to be like this:

"I can afford anything I want."

"Opportunities are everywhere for me."

"Money is there for everyone."

If you want to be healthy, you must embrace the healthy and well-being mindset.

If you want your lover, spouse, families, friends and colleagues to be loving and caring towards you, you must embrace a loving and caring mindset.

In the book, there are principles on how to use and apply the law of attraction being taught.

(1) The 3 Steps Process:
Step 1: Ask

Ask for what you want. Make it absolutely clear about what is it that you are wanting.

Step2: Believe

After your asking, you have to believe that what you have asked is on the way coming to you. You must have faith, have unwavering faith that what you asked for will be fulfilled.

Step 3: Receive

You must be ready to receive what you have asked. You will have an inspired thought when what you asked for came its way to you, all you have to do is to take the inspired action in order to receive it.

(2) Visualization

Visualization is the process that we make it a vivid picture of the things that we want in our mind.

There are some guidelines about the process of visualization.

- While visualizing, we must not ONLY think about it, but also FEEL it. For example, you're visualizing that you are living in your dreamhouse, feel the cosiness of your couch, feel the fresh air the garden of your dreamhouse. While you are visualizing that you are driving the car of your dream, feel the excitement behind the wheels, feel the speed!

- In visualization, you yourself is to be in the picture, you are doing the things that you are visualizing, not you seeing yourself in the picture. Put it this way, you visualize that you are driving your dreamcar, your have to visualize that you are sitting there in the driver seat, hands of the steering wheel, step on the accelerator and feel the breeze of driving, seeing the scenery along the road you are passing by.
- This is why visiting the showhouse and test driving the cars may be of great help, is it because you can get the feel of how is it like to be living in the house and driving the cars.

(3) Gratitude
To allow more of the things that we want to be in our lives, we must be first grateful for what we have right now. Well, you may say that the life you are living right now is just not the life you always want to live, how can you be grateful? The truth is, you receive good things into your life only when you are grateful. We can actually look for the things to be grateful for, you may realise that the things that you can be grateful for are actually endless. Like, the internet access you are right now using, the LCD screen you are viewing right now, and many more. Make a list of things that you are grateful for, and express your devout gratitude towards them, and watch your life transform.

Here I would like to quote Dr Joe Vitale, "I'm completely satisfied, I just want more."
While being grateful for the things we have, we are looking for constant enhancement, as the writer of "The Science of Getting Rich", Wallace D. Wattles says that constant improvement, advancement and enhancement is the inalienable rights for every living beings.

My friends, get a copy of "The Secret", reading this book will transform your life. By the way, there is also a movie version of "The Secret", if you are more into watching movie, you can choose to watch the movie.

I wish you happiness, health and wealth.

The Optimist Creed by Christian Larson

THE OPTIMIST CREED by CHRISTIAN LARSON

Promise Yourself
To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.
To talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person you meet.
To make all your friends feel that there is something worthwhile in them.
To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.
To think only of the best, to work only for the best and to expect only the best.
To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.
To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
To wear a cheerful expression at all times and give a smile to every living creature you meet.
To give so much time to improving yourself that you have no time to criticize others.
To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.
To think well of yourself and to proclaim this fact to the world, not in loud word, but in great deeds.
To live in the faith that the whole world is on your side, so long as you are true to the best that is in you.

Here I would like to share "The Optimist Creed" by Christian Larson with all of you. These are the words that I always appreciate, these are the words that always inspire me.
The Optimist Creed, one of the best reminders and motivators to me.

Remembering The Little Things. The Important Little Things

Oftentimes, we do think that we care for someone just because we call them regularly to check in with them, we send wishes to them during the festive seasons. And sometimes we even think that we are treating them as our VIP when we are remembering and celebrating their birthdays and also the anniversary that we shared with them, those things that we think that are big and important.

To be honest, we are not actually caring for them, if we only do those as mentioned above but forgetting those little things in their lives. Like do you offer to help with the housechores? Or buying the groceries? Do you give them a warming smile to light up their day? Do you really listen to them when they are telling you about the day they went through? Do you hold their hands while taking a stroll? Or do you remember how much sugar to put in their coffee?

To truly care for someone is to pay attention to everything, both big and small things of his/her life, not ONLY to the thing like buying a big present; is to be with him/her whenever he/she needs you to be there, not ONLY on special occasions or events.

There is a saying sounds, "it's the little things that count".

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that we can just treat the special occasions as normal days, creating happy moments during special occasions like birthday, anniversary and festive seasons are the must-dos. The point here is not to forget the little things in everyday life.

If you're someone who cares for the little things of someone you care, you're a caring person. If you do neglect the little things of someone you care, that doesn't mean you're not a caring person, but rather having a different way of expressing your care. Anyway, why not start paying attention to the little things of someone you care start from today? It would strengthen your relationship with those you care. And the relationships would be experiencing the true meaning of care and love from moment to moment.
